Opportunity Works Connecticut, Inc. (OWC) supports people with “amazing abilities” with our vocational job centers and career plans. OWC supports these adults in their journey to live successfully by setting the standard in providing program excellence, skill training, mentoring, and advocacy. OWC provides services that aid in positive self-image which will foster a sense of respect and dignity, and enable these individuals to work and live with quality of life. We embrace the idea that all people can live a fully productive life within their community.
Opportunity Works Connecticut, Inc. pledges to:
- Develop highly efficient workers
- Develop a work force that exemplifies the meaning of selflessness and teamwork
- Provide a unique and positive atmosphere for individuals to develop their skills while building self-confidence and self-esteem, as well as prepare for the workforce
